My academic background includes graduating in political science and economics from U. of T. (1956) and law (Osgoode Hall Law School 1980). After careers in Canada's diplomatic service, public service unions, and law I "retired" to Orillia in 2000. I have been active in local environmental, social, and political causes in Orillia and beyond. I am a member of the Green Party and advocated reform of the electoral system long before the Greens.
Orillia (30,000) is the largest population centre in the riding of Simcoe North. This riding has a long record of voting Conservative.
